Edelman Trust Barometer
The annual Edelman Trust Barometer was recently released ahead of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. Conducted by Edelman Trust, the survey covers 28 countries and examines the role of trust in various sectors—government, media, business, and NGOs.
Key Findings:
- India dropped to 3rd position in terms of public trust in government, businesses, media, etc., within the low-income population group, following China and Indonesia.
- In the high-income group, India was ranked 4th.
- India was ranked 13th in terms of public trust in other countries and companies headquartered in India.
