Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice (DISHA) Scheme

The Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman campaign was organized to mark the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution and India’s establishment as a Republic under the DISHA Scheme.

About DISHA Scheme:

  • Launch: The scheme was launched in 2021 by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, for a period of five years (2021-2026).
  • Aim: The primary objective is to secure "Justice" for the people of India, as outlined in the Preamble and Articles 39A, 14, and 21 of the Indian Constitution.
  • Other Initiatives: The scheme enhances the reach of Tele-Law, Pro Bono Legal Services (Nyaya Bandhu), and Legal Literacy and Awareness programs, both in terms of quality and coverage.
