Blue Origin’s massive New Glenn rocket successfully launched from Florida on its first mission (NG-1) to space. Blue Origin is a private aerospace company founded by Jeff Bezos in 2000.

About the NG-1 Mission:

• The mission's goal was to place the Blue Ring Pathfinder test satellite into orbit and land the rocket's booster on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
• It also aimed to demonstrate reusability, a critical feature for reducing launch costs and improving mission efficiency.
