The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in partnership with NITI Aayog, has launched Swavalambini.

About Swavalambini:
This program focuses on promoting women entrepreneurship in Assam, Meghalaya, and Mizoram. It aims to empower female students from select Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Northeast by providing them with the entrepreneurial mindset, resources, and mentorship needed to thrive in their entrepreneurial ventures. Additionally, the program offers six months of mentorship and support to help participants turn their ideas into viable, sustainable opportunities.
