Revised Open Market Sale Scheme (Domestic) Policy
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution has revised the policy, which sets a new rice reserve price of ₹2,250 per quintal to help control prices and boost ethanol production.


Yala Glacier’s Significant Retreat in the Himalayas
The Yala Glacier in Nepal has retreated by 680 meters and shrunk in size by 36% between 1974 and 2021. It is the only Himalayan glacier included in the Global Glacier Casualty List, highlighting the growing impacts of climate change on the region
